How do I prepare for my tattoo appointment?
Get plenty of sleep the night before your appointment. Avoid drinking alcohol or doing activities that may cause muscle soreness before your appointment. Ensure that the area to be tattooed does not get sunburnt, this will result in the appointment being rescheduled. Eat a filling breakfast and drink plenty of water before your appointment. It also helps if you moisturize your skin a few days leading up to your appointment.
Bring water and snacks with you. Wear comfortable and appropriate clothing for the area to be tattooed. Some clients choose to bring headphones or read books while getting tattooed. If you would like a silent session don’t hesitate to ask!
I have submitted my booking form, what now?
First off, thank you for your interest in supporting my small biz, this being said I am only one person so I will only be replying to the accepted requests. Please be patient, I check my submissions from the oldest to newest so sending multiple emails will move you up further on the list.
Do you do flash tattoos or custom work?
Both! My flash designs will have priority and are sold at a first come, first serve, flat rate basis. However I do love doing custom work as well. If multiple people inquire about a flash piece and someone does not answer, I will move on to the next inquiry.
Can I dm you on social media if I have a question about my tattoo?
Please do not DM me on social media with appointment related inquiries, I schedule my content and because of that I do not check my dms regularly, I would hate to miss your inquiry! Email me any questions (artbpatey@gmail.com)
What do I do after my tattoo?
I will provide tattoo aftercare instructions at the end of your tattoo procedure. I provide a bandage, I offer a variety of options to suit your specific needs.
What’s your age limit?
You must be 18+ to get tattooed, no exceptions! Failure to notify us that you are under 18, or using fake identification to book an appointment will automatically forfeit your deposit.
Deposit & Appointment cancellation Policy
At Karnival Tattoo we require a deposit for all appointments, this is applied toward the total cost of your tattoo (on the final appointment if there are multiple appointments) and holds your appointment time.
In the event that you need to reschedule, we require email notification at least 24 hours in advance. Less than 24 hours notice will forfeit your entire deposit.
Email address Is located on your appointment card. We will reschedule your appointment twice before your deposit is forfeited. Cancellations will automatically forefit your deposit.
Deposits are 100% non refundable and non-transferable.
No deposit, no appointment. Drawings will not be completed until a deposit is paid.
